Sports Bar Mitzvah Cake

This three-tier square cake celebrated the Bar Mitzvah of a real sports fan. We used the invitation as inspiration for the geometric design, and you can see the original concept images below. The cake was made to serve 100 people (at least).

You gotta love Jemima Puddle-Duck! Handmade fondant leaves and piped garden flowers circle the base of this Beatrix Potter-inspired cake. The topper and butterflies are handmade out of fondant. As pictured, the 12" cake serves 35-45 people, depending on how youslice it.

Happy 80th Birthday Bea

Whipped Bakeshop makes a scrapbook of memories for an 80th birthday
Sometimes a cake is more than the sum of its ingredients. When this nice client visited the bakery to ask about a cake for her grandmother's 80th birthday, all she had was a handful of photographs to inspire us. Our decorator Casey Ray had the idea to turn the cake into a 3-D scrapbook of memories.

Phillies Sports Cake Hits a Homer

We made this sportsified cake for the CEO of a local manufacturing company. As you can see, the birthday boy is a fan of both the NY Giants and the Philadelphia Phillies. Go figure!
