Fondant is a rolled icing that goes on the outside of a meringue buttercream-iced cake. It is sweet and a tiny bit chewy. Cakes that have vibrant colored icing are most often covered with fondant, and many of our decorations are also handmade with fondant.

Quality apricot preserves can be added in a thin layer with buttercream inside of your cake. We highly recommend this sandwiched with green tea buttercream inside of our almond or vanilla cake.
Seedless raspberry preserves can be added in a thin layer with icing or truffle cream inside of your cake. We recommend this sandwiched with lemon, chocolate, or almond pound cake, plus your favorite icing or truffle cream.
Quality strawberry preserves can be added in a thin layer with buttercream inside of your cake. We highly recommend this sandwiched with strawberry buttercream inside our vanilla cake for an updated version of strawberry shortcake, the Whipped Bakeshop way!
